The midwestern Brazilian state of Mato Grosso do Sul was the Brazilian state whose exports to the League of Arab States grew most in the first quarter of this year. Sales rose from US$ 16 million, from January to March 2007, to US$ 45 million this year. The state sold to 11 countries in the region.
