The organization is analysing the possibility of setting up the plant in the Emirates, Saudi Arabia or Iran. Butantan Institute, in the southeastern Brazilian state of São Paulo, is going to produce vaccines against the H5N1 virus. An adjuvant, developed by the institution itself, will be used to increase the immunizing power of the vaccine by four times, expanding its efficiency and production capacity, as well as reducing costs. The idea is to answer to Brazil, Latin America and other developing countries.

Amiantit, a multinational in the pipe sector, has been controlling Amitech, a factory located in the interior of the southeastern Brazilian state of São Paulo, since 2002. In July this year the plant will receive its second production line.
