According to figures disclosed last week by the ANTF, in the third quarter of the year alone, Brazilian trains transported the equivalent to 178.3 billion tonne-kilometres, a figure that should rise to 237.7 billion tonne-kilometres up to the end of the year, an increase of 7.1% when compared to 2005.
