The Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa) is going to invest US$ 500,000 per year in an office in Ghana. The base will meet the demands of the whole continent, including the Arab countries in North Africa. Currently Embrapa has projects in Tunisia, Morocco and Egypt. The institution has the greatest knowledge on tropical agriculture in the world.
