São Paulo – The production of vehicles took a 9.7% fall in November in comparison with the previous month, with 264.8 thousand units total. In the cumulative period of the first eleven months of the year, the downturn was 15.5%. The data was released by Anfavea (National Association of Auto Makers). According to its CEO, Luiz Moan, the sector was affected by a poor performance in the first semester: besides a tighter domestic market, the downturn in the Argentinian market hampered exports, which dropped 2.5% in November from October.
