São Paulo – The National Automakers Association (Anfavea) reported this Thursday (6th) that 1.3 million vehicles were sold from January to July of this year, a decline of 19.4% over the same period of 2014.
In July, vehicle sales increased 5.7% over June with 189,900 unities. Over June 2014, however, there was a 21.6% decline.
Production increased 17.8% from June to July and reached 215,100 vehicles. In comparison to June of last year, however, there was a 14.9% decline.
The number of people employed by the sector declined 0.9% from June to July with 135,700 employees. Over July 2014, the decline was steeper with 9.7%.
