São Paulo – Bahrain’s Tender Board (pictured above) announced this Monday (20) 45 new tenders for purchase of goods and services including poultry and beef. The information was made public by the state-run Bahrain News Agency (BNA).
Some of the tenders have been launched by the Supreme Council for Environment. One concerns the supply of frozen chicken for 27 months to the Al Areen Park and Reserve. Another tender will see fresh beef, alfalfa and grass hay to the same park for the same period. Bids will be accepted until August 12.
Information is not available on whether non-Bahraini enterprises can apply to these specific tenders. Bidders must be registered with the Tender Board. The Tender Board had previously relayed to ANBA that only some of its tenders are open to foreign bidders.
BNA said that the 45 new tenders also include the purchase of pharmaceuticals by the Ministry of Health, maintenance of the Bahrain International Airport’s aerodromes by the Bahrain Airport Company, and special services at Tatweer Petroleum extraction and drilling systems.
