São Paulo – The Bank of Brazil (BB) had profit of 11.7 billion reals (US$ 7 billion) in 2010. The value is 15.3% greater than the value obtained by the institution in 2009, 10.1 billion (US$ 6 billion).
The result was disclosed by the bank today (17). Net profit is the greatest in BB history.
In the last quarter of 2010, however, the bank’s profit dropped 3.69% in comparison with the same period last year. From October to December last year, the bank’s net profit was 4.002 billion reals (US$ 2.39 billion), against 4.155 billion reals (US$ 2.48 billion) in the same period in 2009.
