Brasília – The Central Bank of Brazil has maintained the projected growth for the Brazilian economy this year, according to the Quarterly Inflation Report, disclosed today (22). The estimate for expansion of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is 7.3% in 2010.
For 2011, the Central bank considers that the economy is heading towards "a trajectory more appropriate for long-term balance" and growth should reach 4.5%.
