São Paulo – Brazil and China are going to establish a partnership for production of edible and medical mushrooms in Brazil. The director of the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa), Sílvio Crestana, and the vice president of Longyan University, Lin Yuexin, signed the technical cooperation agreement on Friday (4).
Yuexin is part of a Chinese technical delegation that visited Brazil last week to learn about the studies developed by the Embrapa department for genetic resource and biotechnology of edible and medical mushrooms, and also the work of mushroom farmers in the Federal District.
