Brasilia – The athletes from Ghana and Brazil will have the chance of exchanging experiences in the field of high performance sports. This is the content of the agreement signed yesterday (10) by the Foreign Ministers Celso Amorim, of Brazil, and Nana Akufo Addo, of Ghana, during the official visit of the Ghanese president, John Agyekum Kufuor to Brazil.
The agreement has the objective of strengthening collaboration and exchange of information, documents and professionals between the two countries. As well as high performance sports, the partnership also aims at encouraging sporting projects in the social area and sports for handicapped people.
Amongst the ways of cooperation foreseen in the agreement are the possibility of holding courses and seminars, development of sporting programmes and scholarships.
