São Paulo – The minister of State for Defense Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Bowardi (pictured above), discussed bilateral relations between the UAE and Brazil during a videoconference this Monday (28) with the Brazilian minister of Defense, General Walter Souza Braga Netto. During the virtual meeting, which was attended by several high-ranking military and ministry officials, the two ministers spoke about ways to increase collaboration and joint work between countries, particularly in matters related to defense and armed forces. Both also shared perspectives on a range of regional and global issues of mutual interest.
The Brazilian minister of Defense praised the development and progress of the UAE in all areas and expressed Brazil’s desire to strengthen strategic ties with the country concerning defense and the armed forces.
