The Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce unveiled on Monday (4) a portrait of Osmar Chohfi in its gallery of former presidents’ portraits. With a career at the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he at one point served as secretary general, Chohfi completed a term as Arab Chamber president in early 2025 and is now a member of its Advisory and Deliberation Board. Chohfi’s painted portrait (pictured on the top left) was unveiled in the presence of other former presidents, directors, and other high-level executives at the organization. The diplomat attended the ceremony alongside his wife, Katia Saldanha de Alencar Chohfi.
