Brasília – Brazil-based small-sized enterprises will receive free assistance to make their innovative ideas come into reality. In a partnership with the Ministry of Economy and Brazilian Micro and Small Business Support Service (SEBRAE), the National Association of Entities Promoting Innovative Enterprises (Anprotec) will select up to 300 project to receive entrepreneurial training, mentorships and technological support for ten weeks.
Registration is open till Sunday (10), and companies from across Brazil can apply. The assistance to the selected businesses will be carried out for free by company incubators and accelerators affiliated with the Ideiaz Program — Powered by InovAtiva. The network that operates in all states aims to democratize the technical assistance to innovative companies by expanding the national scope of the businesses that receive the technical assistance.
This will be the third edition of the Ideiaz Program. Entrepreneurs with projects in the creation or ideation stage, that is, whose project is yet to be developed or whose business model is yet to become a reality, can apply. Approximately one third of the spots are for the North, Northeast and Center-West regions. Other 20% will be for projects with positive socio-environmental impact.
The applications will be evaluated by a committee consisting of representatives of the SEBRAE system, Anprotec and the Special Secretary for Productivity and Competitiveness of the Ministry of Economy. Also participating in the selection will be development entities, investors, experts in the productive sector, and university professors.
Each selected project will be referred to a fully online service. The enterprises will receive at least 18 hours of support to their development. Out of these, at least 10 hours will consist of individualized support like mentorship, organizational consulting, technological support, support for formalizing business, and entrepreneurial training.
After the training process, the projects will be followed up and must have a business model designed and validated, present a prototype of the developed product or service evaluated by clients, and pitch their finished product.
