The goals at the Zayed Sports City stadium were scored by players Daniel Alves, Alexandre Pato and Nilmar. The first goal, 13 minutes into the match, resulted from a free kick by Daniel Alves. Alexandre Pato scored another goal 24 minutes into the second half, after receiving a pass from Elias.
Nilmar scored the Brazilian team’s third goal during stoppage time, at 46 minutes, off a pass from André Santos.
