São Paulo – The 16 Brazilian companies participating in the 15th edition of the UAE International Dental Conference & Arab Dental Exhibition (AEEDC), promoted between February 1st and 3rd, in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, closed deals of US$ 445,000. In 2010, the event generated US$ 347,000 to the companies participating.
"As a whole, Brazil has consolidated itself as a good business option. Most of the Brazilian companies have participated in other editions of the fair and know the importance of the Middle East. The level of prospection for the coming 12 months, US$ 3 million, shows the good contacts made at the fair," said Paula Portugal, Marketing manager at the Brazilian Association of the Industry of Medical, Dental, Hospital and Laboratory Articles and Equipment (Abimo), in a press statement disclosed by the organisation.
According to the press statement, Brazilian exhibitors took several products to the event, including dentistry products, components for offices (chairs and lighting fixtures), as well as anaesthetic, material for fillings, dentistry devices and dental prosthetics, among others. Paula pointed out that the Brazilian pavilion was visited by businessmen, distributors, buyers and dentists.
