Brasília – In April, 216,974 formal jobs were created in Brazil according to figures issued this Thursday (17th) the General Records Office for Employment and Unemployment (Caged). The result is the difference between hires during the month, which amounted to 1,798,101, and dismissals, which stood at 1,581,127.
The figure represents a reduction of approximately 55,200 positions, or 20.3%, compared with April 2011.
