Brazil develops new technology for oil extraction
With the support of Brazilian oil giant Petrobras, engineers of the University of São Paulo (USP) have created the Mateos, a linear engine that may serve as an alternative to the traditional pump, a centenarian equipment used in the production of oil on land. The new product promises economy of time and money spent in maintenance.
