Brasilia – Brazilian exports generated revenues of US$ 2.663 billion last week, against imports equivalent to US$ 1.756 billion, which generated a surplus of US$ 907 million.
With this, the trade surplus in March increases to US$ 2.152 billion and in the year the value reaches US$ 7.818 billion, with an increase in 10.38% in comparison to the same period last year.
The trade balance values were released today (20) by the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade and show that external sales in the year already add up to US$ 24.549 billion, against imports worth US$ 16.731 billion.
However, external purchases are increasing in a slightly stronger rhythm. They increased by 20.1% up to now, whereas sales increased by 16.8%.
