Rio de Janeiro – The Extended National Consumer Price Index (IPCA), Brazil’s official inflation rate index, dropped 0.09% in August
In July, the inflation rate stood at 0.33%. In August of last year, the IPCA had gone up 0.19%.
The data was shown this Friday (06) by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE). Year-to-date, the inflation rate stands at 2.85% and, year-over-year, at 4.19%.
