Brasília – The economic growth estimate from Brazilian financial market players keeps sliding. The Focus Bulletin released this Monday (15) by the Brazilian Central Bank sees Gross Domestic Product (GDP) climbing 0.81% this year, down from last week’s 0.82%. This is the 20th straight drop in the forecast.
In 2020, GDP growth is expected to be stronger at 2.1%, down from last week’s 2.2% forecast. The 2021 and 2022 projections remain flat at 2.5%.
