São Paulo – Brazil’s ambassador to Beirut, Tarcísio Costa, met on Thursday (15) with Lebanon’s Minister of Justice, Adel Asser, in the Lebanese capital. According to information from the ministry released by the state news agency NNA and from the Brazilian embassy’s social media accounts in the Arab country, they discussed future partnerships in the sector.
According to the ministry, the focus of the meeting was to “strengthen and activate” bilateral relations between the two countries in legal and judicial matters. The exchange of experiences in areas of mutual interest within legal affairs is also expected to be explored.
The two countries already maintain agreements on judicial cooperation in civil matters. In November, Costa discussed bilateral partnerships with Lebanon’s Minister of Labor, Mohammed Haidar.
