Brasília – The extraordinary Brazilian ambassador to the Middle East, Affonso Celso de Ouro-Preto, announced today (1), in Stockholm, Sweden, a contribution of US$ 500,000 by the Brazilian government to humanitarian projects developed by the United Nations (UN) in the Palestinian Occupied Territories.
He is coordinating the Brazilian delegation at the International Conference about the Humanitarian Situation in the Palestinian Occupied Territories. Organized in partnership with the governments of Spain and Norway, the conference will have as its main theme the serious humanitarian situation in the Palestinian Occupied Territories, especially in the Gaza strip.
