São Paulo – The International Cooperation Group of Brazilian Universities (GCUB) announced that 50 institutions in the country are offering more than 785 scholarships for master’s and doctoral programs for foreign students. This new action is called GCUB International Mobility Program (GCUB-Mob).
The scholarship programs are scheduled to begin in 2023. Registration is free, and the application deadline is November 13, 2022. Complete regulation is available on the GCUB’s website.
The program aims to support students from the five continents, as well as fostering university internationalization and strengthening international cooperation between universities from Brazil and other countries.
The program is held by the GCUB with support from the Agence International de la Francophonie, National Council of State Research Support Foundations and the Guimarães Rosa Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brazil.
In addition to programs like the GCUB-Mob, the group also holds seminar sessions that bring together key researchers in Brazil and elsewhere. Other initiatives include organizing international mission targeted at representatives of member universities and holding leadership training courses focused on international university cooperation.
