Brazil, the new father of transgenic soy
In around four years, farmers from all around the world should be able to plant Brazilian genetically modified soy. The Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation and Basf are working to place the seeds, which should generate plants resistant to imidazolinone herbicides and promise to end the Monsanto dominion in the area.
