Brazil to inaugurate biofactory in November
The Ministry of Science and Technology will invest US$ 1.34 million to finalise the construction. The unit is being built in the city of Juazeiro and will produce sterile insects that will be used in pest combat in mango orchards. Brazil earned US$ 370 million with fruit exports last year, of which US$ 64.3 million correspond to mangoes.
