São Paulo – The Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa), connected to the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply, signed this week a memorandum of understanding with the government of Botswana to transfer technology and train technicians from the country.
The agreement establishes that over the next five years the Brazilian institution should take to the African country technical innovations in two areas: livestock farming and agricultural development for extremely arid zones. Most of Botswana is in the Kalahari Desert, subject to long droughts.
