São Paulo – The Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa) is going to present technology it develops at the 47th Annual Meeting of the Assembly of Governors of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and at the 21st Annual Meeting of the Assembly of Governors of the Inter-American Investment Corporation. The meetings will take place between March 27 and April 5, at the Expominas Convention Centre, in Belo Horizonte, capital of the southeastern Brazilian state of Minas Gerais.
Among the technologies to be presented by Embrapa at the meeting are coloured cotton, biotechnology projects and mini cashew nut factories. Brazil will be hosting the event for the fourth time. There have already been similar meetings in Rio de Janeiro, in 1961 and 1980 (SE Brazil), in Fortaleza (NE Brazil) in 2002 and, now the meeting is going to take place in Belo Horizonte.
