São Paulo – Brazilian businessman Janguiê Diniz, founder of Ser Educational group and president of Instituto Êxito de Empreendedorismo, received on Wednesday (3) the golden visa of the United Arab Emirates in Dubai. The golden visa is granted to international investors, entrepreneurs, doctors, engineers, scientists and artists that could contribute to the development of the Arab country.
A statement of the Institute Êxito de Empreendedorismo says the golden visa was delivered by Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTMC) director-general Helal Saeed Al Marri and vice president Hamad bin Mejren. The document grants a residence permit for up to 10 years in the Arab country.
Ser Educacional, founded by Diniz, became a leading private higher education group in Brazil. The businessman has an extensive academic background, with 27 published books and a career in entrepreneurship that ranges from curatorship to investment in startups. From a humble background, Diniz was a shoeshine while growing up and performed several crafts until reaching adulthood, from orange salesman to announcer. Ser Educacional was founded in 2003.
According to a press release, Diniz said the special visa represents an opportunity to strengthen ties and widen investments. “As an investor, I’m always seeking new frontiers of business and partnership opportunities. The UAE has an economy that is heavily based on entrepreneurship and technological development, which appeals to me as they are focused on the future,” he was quoted as saying.
