São Paulo – Braziliana, a small company established in São Paulo over a year ago, produces silver jewelry and cosmetic jewelry for to put on the 1international market and, apart from exporting to the United States, Europe, Lebanon, Chile, and Argentina, has products in over 200 points of sale in Brazil.
In three days of Couromoda, the company has closed sales contracts with England, Costa Rica, the United States, Argentina, and Chile. Company products are becoming well known as ecologic jewelry or bio jewelry.
Another detail is the company engagement in wildlife preservation, making it use products nature discards. With monthly production of 1,500 items, Braziliana is inspired on Indian art and on the spirit of the Brazilian people using natural products.
"Our raw material is basically grain. Most of it comes from the Amazon, such as assai palm seeds, jarina seeds, known as vegetable ivory, as well as natural fibers such as achiote," explains company owner Marco Antônio Olyntho.
Braziliana product export brings money to Brazil. The sale of genuinely Brazilian products helps not only in the maintenance of forests, but also in providing work for societies that have their handcraft as their main source of income.
