São Paulo – The managers of the Al Sadd team, in Qatar, have accepted to lend the Brazilian Leandro Montera da Silva to the rival Al Rayyan for the coming six months. According to information disclosed by Qatar News Agency, he will defend Al Rayyan at the end of the current season and in the group phase of the next edition of the tournament.
Leandro got to Al Sadd in 2009, after being the striker of the Japanese Gamba Osaka, having scored nine goals. He recently signed a contract with Al Sadd up to 2014.
Before playing in Qatar and for Gamba Osaka, the athlete had played for the Japanese Vissel Kobe, Montedio Yamagata and Omiya Ardija. In Brazil, he played for Nacional, in São Paulo, in 2005.
