São Paulo – Hours worked in Brazilian industry climbed by 1.5% in January over December and industrial employment grew by 0.4% in the same comparison according to numbers released this Friday (1st) by Brazilian National Confederation of Industry (CNI, acronym in Portuguese).
Installed capacity level grew by 0.7% in January over December, reaching 78.3%. This means a 0.2% growth over that same month.
However, industry revenue dropped by 2% over December and 0.2% compared to January of last year. Real wages and average workers real income also dropped.
