Brazilian poultry exports added up to US$ 2.6 billion in 2004
Last year 2.470 million tonnes of the product was shipped, which represented a 26% increase in relation to 2003. In terms of revenue, there was an increase of 44%. The Middle East was the region that bought the most in terms of volume, a total of 750,000 tonnes.
