Brasília – Professors of the Federal Technical College of the State of Paraná (UTFPR) and technicians of the Ministry of Education are united to discuss proposals for restructuring of content of professional education in accounting and administration at the Centre for Administrative and Management Training (Cenfa) in Guinea-Bissau.
According to a spokesperson for the Ministry of Education of Brazil, the request was made directly by the Cenfa. The technical cooperation mission will debate the proposals up to March 16th. The group already plans actions like professor training, revision of the curricular content and the elaboration of a pedagogical project for the centre.
The Cenfa installations were bombed and its equipment was pillaged during the civil war that took place in Guinea-Bissau between 1998 and 1999. Currently, the centre has 66 professors and little over 1,200 students registered in technical administration and accounting courses.
