São Paulo – Atech Tecnologias Críticas, a Brazilian company that develops systems and software mainly for the aeronautics sector won the Foreign Trade Prominence Award 2005, in the service export category. The Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade and Brazilian Foreign Trade Association (AEB) award was given during the National Foreign Trade Meeting (Enaex), which is taking place in Rio de Janeiro, in southeastern Brazil.
At the end of last year, the company closed two deals to supply systems to Venezuela. The first, for the value of US$ 1 million, involved the integration of a meteorological network of sensors and radars, and the second, for US$ 1,5 million, is for the development of air control systems. The company also provides services to a Japanese company in the metal bridge sector, according to a spokesperson for the company.
