São Paulo – The Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa) will promote a forum named Africa-Brazil Agricultural Innovation Marketplace Forum, on Wednesday (6th) and Thursday in Brasília. The event should be attended by 120 researchers from the two regions. Issues to be addressed will include technologies for increasing production and actions for improving the handling of natural resources.
The agricultural projects selected will be funded by international organizations, which already have US$ 3 million available for the next three years. The forum is a follow-up to the "Brazil-Africa Dialogue on Food Security, Fight against Hunger and Rural Development, launched in May this year.
