Brasília – Brazilian expenditures overseas reached USD 1.385 billion in November and a total of USD 16.863 billion on the first eleven months of the year, reported the Brazilian Central Bank this Friday (21). The results were respectively 13.2% and 2.96% less than the expenses registered in same periods of 2017.
Foreigners travelling to Brazil spent USD 464 million in November and USD 5.432 billion from January until the last month. With Brazilians spending more overseas than foreigners spending inside the country, international travels account had negative results of USD 921 million last month and USD 11.431 billion in the year so far.
