The company delivered a total of 141 jets: 48 commercial aircraft and 93 executive jets (62 light and 31 medium). Data were released on Wednesday (9) night by the company.
According to Embraer, the company’s commercial aviation sector ended 2021 with a 23% revenue growth, BRL 7.1 billion (about USD 1.41 billion), due to the increase in deliveries of the E195-E2 jets and higher prices. The defense and security area suffered an 8% drop, to BRL 3.1 billion (about USD 618.8 million), having been mainly impacted by the negotiation with the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) concerning the KC-390 contract, in which the number of aircraft to be delivered was reduced from 28 to 22 units.
