São Paulo – Brazil imported 12.7% fewer fertilizers in November 2025 than in the same month the previous year, according to the latest data from fertilizer lobby Anda. The association reports that 3.85 million metric tons were purchased from abroad that month.
In the year-to-November period, Brazil’s fertilizer imports were up 4.8% compared to the same period in 2024, totaling 39.70 million tons. The Port of Paranaguá, in Paraná state, was the main entry point of these imports.
In total, fertilizer deliveries to the Brazilian market reached 4.33 million tons in November 2025, up 2.6% from the same month last year. From January to November, 45.27 million tons were delivered, a 7.8% increase over the same period in 2024.
Brazil’s production of intermediate fertilizers reached 517,000 tons in November 2025, down 11.8% from the same month last year. From January to November, production totaled 6.72 million tons, up 4.1% compared to the same period in 2024.
