Seven teams will play the Club World Cup: Japan’s Urawa Reds, Egypt’s Al Ahly, Mexico’s León, New Zealand’s Auckland City, England’s Manchester City, Brazil’s Fluminense, and Saudi Arabia’s Al-Ittihad, champion of the host country’s national championship. According to FIFA, Fluminense’s first match in the tournament could be against the Arab teams Al-Ittihad FC, Al Ahly FC, or New Zealander Auckland City FC.
The Club World Cup will occur from December 12 to 22. The third phase of ticket sales for the competition will open this Wednesday, November 8, on the FIFA website, according to the federation. The organization stated that there will be tickets for all matches and all seat categories at this stage, and sales will remain open until the end of the tournament, subject to availability.
