Brasília – The balance of US dollar inflows and outflows in Brazil is still running a deficit. From March 1st to 8th, dollar outflows have exceeded inflows by US$ 368 million, according to figures released this Wednesday (13th) by the Brazilian Central Bank. The deficit was US$ 105 million in February and US$ 2.386 billion in January.
From January 1st to March 8th, the deficit stands at US$ 2.859 billion. During the period, the balance of trade showed a US$ 5.372 billion deficit, and financial operations showed a US$ 2.513 billion surplus.
