São Paulo – Brazilian defense products company Taurus disclosed this Wednesday (5) it signed a contract with Sepha Military Industries Company to distribute and sell its products in the Saudi Arabian military and police market.
The company, based in the city of São Leopoldo, Rio Grande do Sul, informed in a press release this was another important step taken in the Arab country, where it opened a regional office last year.
Taurus Global CEO Salesio Nuhs said these strategic actions in Saudi Arabia are part of Taurus’ plan to expand business and increase market share in the Middle East, an important and prominent market. According to Taurus, Saudi Arabia is among the eight countries with the highest military spending in the world.
Sepha is a Saudi defense company whose mission is to contribute to the Saudi Vision 2030 strategic plan, modernizing the local Armed Forces and serving the defense and security market in partnership with the world’s leading companies. The company belongs to Ajlan & Bros Holding.
In addition to its headquarters, Taurus has two production units, one in the United States and another in India. It manufactures different types of weapons and serves the civil, military, and police markets in Brazil and over 100 countries.
