Brasília – Representatives of B20 Coalition, group that gathers businessmen from 20 of the biggest economies in the world, released a group of proposal to try to eliminate bottlenecks that hinder the expansion of jobs and investments in countries facing growing difficulties. The suggestions, presented in Brasília by the National Confederation of Industry (CNI), are part of a document published simultaneously to the World Bank and International Monetary Fund (IMF) meeting taking place in Washington (United States) with the presence of the Brazilian Finance Minister, Joaquim Levy.
One of the proposals is for governments to take the initiative for building a business environment favorable to sustainable development. For this, they ask for the urgent implementation, by the G20 (group of the main countries in the world) governments of structural reforms, fiscal adjustment, monetary policy, labor reforms, trade facilitation and technology promotion. In Brazil, according to CNI, the document is important to alert the government and society about the need of a fiscal adjustment.
