São Paulo – The sale of new vehicles dropped 8.7% in November, falling from 341,644 units to 311,722, according to a balance sheet disclosed on Friday (7) by the National Association of Vehicle Manufacturers (Anfavea). In comparison with November last year, there was a 3% drop, but in the accumulated result for the year, there was expansion of 4.8%. From January to November, 3.442.716 units were traded, as against 3,284,833 in the same period last year.
According to the figures, production has also dropped, from 318,701 units in October to 301,679 (-5.3%) in November. With regard to November 2011, the sector recorded growth of 10.5%. In the accumulated result for the year, there was reduction of 2.1% with 3,083,253 units against the 3,148,838 produced from January to November 2011.
