São Paulo – Brazilian carmakers produced 245,200 vehicles in May, an increase of 20.1% over April and 10.4% when compared to the same month in 2005. In the accumulated total for the year, they have already produced 1 million vehicles.
This is the first time that Brazil produces this volume of vehicles in the first five months of the year, according to a study by the National Association of Vehicle Manufacturers (Anfavea).
