Today, the International Blind Sports Federation World Championship and Games begin in São Paulo. The competition is worth classification for the 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games. There are over 1,600 participants from 63 countries, including delegations from Algeria, Iraq, Lebanon and Tunisia. The competition ends on August 06th.
Brothers Adrian and Antoine Jaoude, from Rio de Janeiro, are going to compete, on Friday and Saturday, in the wrestling competitions in the Pan-American Games. Adrian, naturalized Brazilian, was born in Lebanon and Antoine spent his childhood in the Arab country. They are sons of a Lebanese father and usually communicate in Arabic during the fights.
