The Arab Brazilian Chamber and the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex) will promote next Thursday (29) a meeting to speak to Brazilian businessmen about the markets in Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia. The organisations are preparing a mission to those three countries towards the end of May and beginning of June. The meeting will be held at the Arab Chamber Space, in São Paulo.

The idea arose during a visit by a delegation of Sudanese businessmen to the city of São Paulo last week. The objective is to promote the products made in the Arab country in Brazil and simplify contacts between companies from both countries. The delegation visited the Arab Brazilian Chamber on Friday.
On the third day of the event, the product was once again the most sought after at the Brazilian stand. Today (23), approximately 180 people visited the stand of the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce.
The Brazilian Halal Food Centre (Cibal) was one of the most sought organizations at the Brazilian stand. Egypt is the second greatest buyer of cattle beef of Brazil, and producers want to maintain their share of the local market. Brasfoods, in turn, forecasts closing over US$ 400,000 in business at the fair.
Brasfoods and Brazilian Pepper Trade, in the food sector, closed orders for spices in the first day of Cairo International Fair. The stand of the Arab Brazilian Chamber at the fair was also greatly sought by people interested in importing meats, coffee, sugar, agricultural equipment and wood from Brazil.
Ahmed Nazif and the Egyptian ministers of Trade and Industry, Rachid Mohamed Rachid, and of Petroleum, Sameh Fahmi, participated yesterday in the opening of the 40th edition of Cairo International Fair. The mulstisectorial event, to be opened today, includes the presence of Brazilian companies and an Arab Brazilian Chamber stand.
Both organizations are planning six joint events abroad this year, including three trade missions. One of them will be to the North of Africa, including Morocco, Tunisia and Egypt. To the president at the Chamber, Antonio Sarkis Jr., the cooperation has favoured business with the Arab world.
The Cairo International Fair, which begins on March 21st and will continue until March 30th in Egypt, will count on the participation of three Brazilian companies and one institution. The event, which is multisector, is one of the main business fairs in the region. The Arab Brazilian Chamber will have a 55-square-metre stand at the event.
The assistant projects director at Emaar Properties, Greg Sang, was met by Michel Alaby, the secretary general at the organization. On Monday, the engineer is going to visit the International Real Estate Federation (Fiabci), which is going to promote a trade mission to Dubai in June, together with the Chamber.
Five groups of artisans who are part of the Talents of Brazil project are going to exhibit their collections in the 112th edition of fair Paralela Gift, to begin today in the southeastern Brazilian city of São Paulo. Among the products to be exhibited at the fair are from embroidered clothes, the specialty of artisans from the northeastern Brazilian state of Paraíba, to accessories like rings, bracelets and earrings made out of silver and opals, mined by artisans from the state of Piauí.

He is responsible for the construction of the Burj Dubai, to be the largest building in the world, and participated yesterday in the 5th International Forum on Architecture and Construction, in the city of São Paulo. The Arab Brazilian Chamber is going to have a stand at the fair to provide support to businessmen.
The trip will be organized by the Brazilian branch of the International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI/Brasil) with the support of the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce. According to the president at the organization, Antonio Sarkis Jr., as the construction of great real estate projects in the Emirates is outsourced, there are excellent opportunities for Brazilian companies. The president of the FIABCI, Ricardo Yazbek, pointed out that Brazil has great know-how in the area.
