Franchel, a maker of cosmetics, is going to export raw material for a company in Syria to produce beauty products in the Arab country. Apart from the business, the presence of the Brazilian delegation in Syria generated a series of institutional contacts. Today, for example, the CCAB will sign an agreement with news agency SANA, from the Arab country, for the exchange of material with ANBA.

The products from Brazil exhibited at the Motexha, fashion trade fair that started yesterday in the United Arab Emirates, pleased the local public. Companies like the shoes manufacturer Samello and the jewels and semi jewels factory Alchemy made contacts that can lead to business deals in the future. The companies are part of a stand organised by the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce.

Three factories, one stylist and an industry association from Brazil will present today their products at Motexha Autumn, the greatest trade fair for clothes, shoes and accessories in the Middle East, which starts on Monday and follows through until Thursday in Dubai. They are participating in a stand organised by the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (CCAB).

In the textile industry, the product is considered a synonym of quality and it will be the theme of an event to take place between the 28th and 30th of this month in São Paulo, in southeastern Brazil. The idea is to show various items in the chain, from cotton lint, to garments, and promote the increase of sales to Brazil.

According to the director of the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce branch in Curitiba, in the southern state of Paraná, Kamal David Curj, enrolling at the entity is an important step to make the company known in the Arab market. He recalls that the region has great consumer potential and Brazilian exports to the region grow in an accelerated way.

In a meeting with directors of the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce, in the beginning of the week, the Syrian minister of Economy, Amir Lutfi, demonstrated an interest in promoting exchange with Brazil in the fields of transports, agriculture, industries and investments. He also wants to hold the Week of Brazil in Syria. Nine Brazilian companies are participating, with the CCAB, at the Damascus International Fair.

The Brazilian factory will present their latest products in masculine shoes at Motexha, fashion fair that will take place between the 12th and 15th of September, in Dubai. Samello exports to 35 countries and manufactures shoes for international brands such as Polo Ralph Lauren, HS Trask Oakley and Fairmount. Their products are sold in the Arab market for two years.

The company Emigran Granites, factory from the interior of Brazilian state of São Paulo, will participate at the Project Qatar 2005, exhibit in the construction sector, in Doha, from the 18th to the 21st of September. Emigran has the capacity of producing 10,000 square metres per month and exports 70% of the production. Qatar is going to invest US$ 26 billion in infrastructure construction works in the next five years.

Franchel, company based in the state of Goiás, will participate at the Damascus International Fair, in September, with the objective of finding a partner to manufacture its products in the country. The exports manager at the company, Frankleen Rocha, believes this is the quickest way to enter the Arab market. The factory produces from shampoos and conditioners to perfumes and make up.
