The company from the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais, Moltec, which already exports to Saudi Arabia and the Emirates, will participate for the first time at Motexha Autumn, trade fair in the fashion and shoes sector that will take place in Dubai between the 12th and 15th of September. The Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce is organizing the participation of Brazilian companies.

Indians from six cities in the state of Roraima, in the North of Brazil, are participating since the beginning of the year in a project called Inkama, with the aim of structuring production and trading of handicraft. The pieces, such as hats and bags, made with tirite splints, vines and murity palm fibres, are sold in São Paulo and Roraima. There already are importers in France and Italy interested in the products.

This is the first sale by shoe manufacturer Sandálias Giovanna to the region. Following shortly three containers with 14,000 pairs will be shipped to the Arab country. The Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce promotes the participation of Brazilian companies at the Damascus International Fair, in Syria, and at the Motexha Autumn, in Dubai. The first one is multi-sectorial and holds opportunities even for who wants to sell to Iraq. The latter is directed to the fashion, shoes and accessories sector, with business opportunities for manufacturers and stylists.

The executive of United Marketing Group, Abdul Hussain Kadhim, is in the city of São Paulo, the largest business centre in Brazil, in the southeast of the country, to participate in business roundtables with businessmen in the sector. The company is going to supply the construction material and furniture for 50,000 houses, apartments and offices that are under construction in Dubai emirate.

The Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (CCAB) promoted yesterday, in Curitiba, the capital of the southern Brazilian state of Paraná, a seminar about business opportunities in the Middle East and North Africa. In the evaluation of Ardisson Akel, from the Federation of Industries of the State, Paraná has much to offer. The secretary general of the CCAB, Michel Alaby, pointed out the importance of fairs like those that are going to take place in September in Dubai and Syria.

A representative of Taurus, from the United Arab Emirates, is in the southeastern Brazilian city of São Paulo seeking Brazilian businessmen interested in participating in the business. He is one of the six Arab importers who are participating in the Fenavem, the furniture sector fair that began yesterday in the capital of the state of São Paulo.

The new collection of underwear by band Liz was baptized "Raks Sharki", which means "belly dance" in Arabic. The items present Arab designs and are already exported to eight countries, among them Lebanon, where the company has an exclusive representative.
