Ten Brazilian companies in sectors such as food, home appliances, agricultural machinery, shoes, auto parts, and plastics will be present at the event. The multi-sector fair will take place between June 2 and 10. Between May 26 and 27, businessmen and employees from Algeria will be participating in the Latin America and Algeria Economic Relations Seminar.

The business opportunity may arise in the near future, as among the main items in the trade basket to Arab countries like Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates are glass and its artefacts.
The company from the southeastern state of São Paulo sells hair dye, shampoo, and conditioners to Kuwait, Chile, Japan, and the United States. In 2004, Surya, which developed a special package for the Arab market, wants to double export revenues and enter new markets in Europe and other Middle Eastern countries.
